7Bit: ChangeLog for new release

Here are some parts of ChangeLog of the development of the new engine for the past few days.

Just don't think that everything is freezed again - no way!

- Added CMS::DB::Block class for site blocks
- Added Add/Edit/List block functions for administration area along with templates needed
- Added CMS::DB::Layout class for site layouts
- Added Add/Edit/List layout functions for administration area along with templates needed

13/02/2006
- Added restriction in the CMS::DB::User on deleting users which are set as super user or guest user in at least on config profile
- Added delete user function to user administration page
- Added restriction in the CMS::DB::Group on deleting groups which are set as default group for new users in at least on config profile
- Added delete group function to group administration page
- Added restriction in the CMS::DB::Config on deleting current (active) config profile
- Added delete config function to config administration page
- Activation of config profile moved to separate function in administration area to have separate permission
- Added template and function for batch editing of permissions for a group

- Decided to use text file as a changelog since I have to reinit database from time to time what causes the data loss
- Config administration part is functioning now
- User administration modified to utilize the new_use_group config setting and from now on also adds user to the default group after creatio n
- Start utilizing the Error class for data validation and proper error messages in forms
- Add .error CSS class for nice look of form errors
- Add data constraints on CMS::DB::Config for data validation
- Add error reporting for config editing in Admin zone
- Edit config template modified to display changes made even on error
- Edit config template cleaned up from mess
- Add error reporting for groups editing in Admin zone
- Edit group template modified to display changes made even on error
- Add error reporting for users editing in Admin zone
- Edit users template modified to display changes made even on error
- Module permissions template impoved to show info message when no permissions are present
- Group permission validation added to accept only 'r','w' and 'n' as value

Alex! Cmon! I have a new engine in Java... maybe we better use it? however we need to change the style of it totally. PHP and even Perl are script langs for kids. Delete this block when ready to start with the new way of coding :)
